6 Pin Throttle Sensor Schematics (Drive By Wire Throttle) There are two types of throttle having 6-pin wiring. One is the drive-by-wire (electronic) throttle and the second is the cable-operated throttle intake body. Below is the drive-by-wire six-pin (electronic) throttle intake body diagram. Motor Positive; Motor Negative; Signal Wire (Sensor 1)
Throttle-by-wire -- Throttle-by-wire, or accelerate-by-wire, was the first type of drive-by-wire system introduced. These systems use a pedal unit and an engine management system. The pedal uses sensors that measure how much or how little the driver moves the accelerator, and the sensors send that information to the engine management system.
SwampDonkey said: The new throttle is a standard Cyclone 6 wire. Its the second one I pictured. The second one you pictured has 5 wires, and is labeled as follows red +5 volts power cable. black negative power cable. green signal. yellow power positive. blue power positive or electric switch.
The LS1 Corvette throttle body was the first electronic throttle body used with Chevrolet V engines. The throttle position sensor is mounted on the bank 2 side of the engine and the throttle shaft motor is mounted on the bank 1 side of the engine. The blade on this throttle body measures approximately 75 mm in diameter.

When the throttle valve opening angle becomes greater than 72 degrees, the resistance will be equal to 0 Ω. If the switch does not work in the described way, and the turning on and turning off cannot be regulated by bending the levers driving the throttle valve, most likely the throttle switch is defective.-- Possible damages in TS:
A throttle controller is basically a device that that is responsible for catching the signal between the accelerator pedal and the engine management. It is also known as a booster throttle controller. This is done on a fly by wire throttle. It takes the signal from the pedal and facilitates a modified signal to the engine management.
