Install the latest graphics driver provided by the system manufacturer in step 1. Once the latest driver has been installed, enable the Internet connection again. Remove all third-party video adapters, converters, hubs, or docking stations. Try a direct connection (HDMI to HDMI, DisplayPort* to DisplayPort*, and so on) instead. Open Device Manager by pressing Windows Key + X simultaneously or right-clicking on the Start button and selecting Device Manager from the list. Scroll down and double click on Universal Serial Bus controllers. Select the affected USB port or hub and right-click on it. This video is regarding my experience in solving the problem where the secondary GPU is not listed under Device Manager, after I have uninstalled it along wi I have an ATI radeon 5450 card. After i installed Windows 7, the display device in device manager has been showing as Standard VGA Graphics Adapter. I have used windows 7 previously too on the exact same system (except i added a tv tuner card a year ago, dont know if that matters), but never encountered this problem. The hardware IDs show up as: Open MSI Afterburner. In the left pane, click the gear icon to open properties. In the Compatibility settings section, uncheck the box next to Enable low-level IO driver.
